This document describes the basic usage of ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin. If you are very new to ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin, or if you have any difficulties on using it, please refer to this document.
ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin is a 3D video editing plugin for Adobe After Effects.
The specification of this product is as follows. For the latest information, such as system requirements, supporting operation system, please refer to ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin web site.
†1 For Macintosh, this products only supports Intel processor.
†2 Your computer must be online for product activation.
Here describes how to install ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin.
If After Effects is running, exit it.
Run "ISP Tools License Manager". Please check license authentication status which is indicated at "Installation/activation status" area.

Select the version of After Effects which you are going to install ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin, and then click "Install" button. When you see a message "Installation has done.", the installation is done.
By pressing "Browse" button, you can specify After Effects application which you are going to install ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin.

Run After Effects, see whether "ISP Stereoscopic 3D" is listed in "Effects & Presets" window.
Confirm that ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin file is in After Effects plugin folder. When CS5 is installed by default setting, After Effects plugin folder will be as follows. For other versions users, or if you have specified where to install After Effects on installation, please substitute it into your environment.

After installing ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin, please activate it within 15 days. Users can install/activate ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin upto 2 computers (must be the same platform (Macintosh/Windows) ).
If After Effects is running, exit it.
Make sure that your computer is online.
Run "ISP Tools License Manager". Type product serial number and click "Activation" button.
When you see a message "Activation has done.", the activation is done.
If you have failed on activation, please check what you input and retry.
If you need to make an activation offline, please contact our support desk.
If you would like to transfer a license, you will need a deactivation first.
If After Effects is running, exit it.
Make sure that your computer is online.
Run "ISP Tools License Manager". Click "Deactivation" button.
When you see a message "Deactivation has done.", the deactivation is done.
If you have failed on deactivation by network error or any other reason, please contact our suppport desk.
Uninstallation removes plugin, also deactivation will be performed if needed.
If After Effects is running, exit it.
Make sure that your computer is online.
Run License Manager. Click "Uninstall" button.
Run After Effects, see whether "ISP Stereoscopic 3D" is not listed in "Effects & Presets" window.
Create a composition and place source videos/materials as you like. Switch a layer to be 3D layer if needed and place source videos/materials into 3D region.
If the source video was shot for 3D, please load both left-eye video and right-eye video.

Add an adjustment layer on top of the composition. Select the adjustment layer, select "menubar > Effect > ISP > ISP Stereoscopic 3D". The effect control panel of ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin will appear.

Configure parameters and z-axis of 3D layer as necessary.
If the source video was shot for 3D, set left-eye video and right-eye video as "S3D L/R source > Left Source" and "S3D L/R source > Right Source".
Please refer to "Parameter Details" for each parameter's detail.

Select output type from "S3D Output Type" and start rendering, 3D video will be generated.

ISP Stereoscopic 3D plugin can configure the following parameters.

Anaglyph Balance | Adjusts the red/blue balance. Effective only when "S3D Output Type" is set to "Red/Blue Balanced Colored" |
Swap L/R 3D effect | Swaps left camera and right camera. |
L/R Camera Parallax | Adjusts the parallax of left/right camera. |
Camera Preset | Specifies preset camera to use. |

Zoom | Adjusts the distance of camera and image area. |
Depth of Field | Specifies using depth of field or not. |
Focus Distance | Adjusts the focus distance of camera. |
Aperture | Adjusts aperture of lens. |
Blur Level | Adjusts the amount of blur of depth of field. |

Left Source | Selects left-eye video. |
L Shift X | Specifies the amount of x-axis shift for video selected at "Left Source". |
L Shift Y | Specifies the amount of y-axis shift for video selected at "Left Source". |
L Scale | Expands/Shrinks video selected at "Left Source". |
L Rotate | Rotates video selected at "Left Source" |
Right Source | Selects right-eye video. |
R Shift X | Specifies the amount of x-axis shift for video selected at "Right Source". |
R Shift Y | Specifies the amount of y-axis shift for video selected at "Right Source". |
R Scale | Expands/Shrinks video selected at "Right Source". |
R Rotate | Rotates video selected at "Right Source" |
L/R Shift X(Depth) | Moves videos selected at "Left Source" and "Right Source" to front or back. |
Preview / output types listed below are available.
Configures camera which placed in After Effects. Configured parameters will be applied to 2 cameras placed automatically at once. Please refer to Help of After Effects for the details of camera parameters.
If the source video was shot for 3D, select left-eye video as "Left Source" and right-eye video as "Right Source". If there is parallax between two videos, please adjust by editing parameters.
