Please refer to this document when you install / uninstall ROBUSKEY.

ROBUSKEY for Photoshop is a plugin software that extracts^(†1) subjects from other parts of the images taken with blue backgrounds or green backgrounds. It runs on Adobe^® Photoshop^®.

(†1)The yellow color of the area outside the green color region may affect the extraction area.

• Proprietary developed Chroma-Key algorithm(patented) extracts finely strand of hair.
• Removes the green reflection of the subject.
• Mitigate the effects of uneven illumination of green backgrounds.
• Extracts the background transparent marterial in simple operation.
• Simple and intuitive opration leads you to the ideal result.

ROBUSKEY is a Chroma-Key plugin software runs on Adobe^® Photoshop^®. Activation is required prior to start using ROBUSKEY.

Here describes how to install ROBUSKEY plugin.

• Exits Photoshop

If Photoshop is running, exit it.

• Run ROBUSKEY Installer

Double click the ROBUSKEY installer to start installation.


• Starting Installation

Select the version of the Photoshop by clicking radio button, and click "Install" button.

Press "Browse…" button to specify where to be installed (Photoshop plugin folder).




Installation has done.




† When you install on Macintosh, username and password will be required. Please enter them which has administrative privileges.



Press "Browse..." button to specify where to be installed.

• Confirm Success of Installation

Run Photoshop, click "About Plug-in" from menubar, check if there is "ROBUSKEY V3.1..." and selectable.

Here describes how to activate ROBUSKEY plugin.

• Exit Photoshop

If Photoshop is running, exit it.

• Run Activation

Make sure that your computer is online.
Run "ROBUSKEY License Manager". Type product serial number and click "Activation" button.




Message When Activation is Succeeded




Message when Activation is Failed




When you failed on activation, please check product serial number and retry.

 

• Exit Photoshop

If Photoshop is running, exit it.

• Run Deactivation

Run "ROBUSKEY License Manager". Press "Deactivate" button.

Message when Deactivation is Failed

Deletes all the ROBUSKEY plugin files and deactivates.

• Exit Photoshop

If Photoshop is running, exit it.

• Delete Plugin File

Run "ROBUSKEY License Manager". Press "Uninstall" button.

† When you uninstall on Macintosh, username and password will be required. Please enter them which has administrative privileges.

• Confirm Success of Uninstallation

Run Photoshop, click "About Plug-in" from menubar, check there is not "ROBUSKEY V3.1...".

• Q: On installation procedure, I got a message "Failed on copying plugin files."
• A: Please check if ...:
  • you have specified host application properly.
  • your host application is not running.
  • you have administrative privileges.
    
• Q: I installed ROBUSKEY, but it's not listed on host application.
• A: The installation may not successfully finished. Please retry "How to Install Plugin". Refer to "Check Plugin File" and confirm that plugin files are copied properly.
  If you would like to use ROBUSKEY on different version of Photoshop, you need to install ROBUSKEY on each version of Photoshop.
• Q: ROBUSKEY does not work on host application. I got a message "ROBUSKEY license is invalid."
• A: If you would like to use ROBUSKEY for more than 30 days from installation, you are required to activate ROBUSKEY. Please refer to "How to Activate ROBUSKEY" and follow the activation procedure.
• Q: When I start ROBUSKEY License Manager, an error message "Failed to get Client ID" appears.
• A: In this case, activation may not be done successfully. If you have failed on activation, please contact ROBUSKEY Support Desk.
