ROBUSKEY® for Adobe® Photoshop® OverviewROBUSKEY® for Adobe® Photoshop®

The ROBUSKEY plug-in for Adobe Photoshop makes image synthesis possible in the same environment. Everything can be done right in Photoshop, from preparing the source images to matting with simple operations--keying with ROBUSKEY--to final image processing after the images have been combined. Because it is easy to use and delivers high-quality matting, ROBUSKEY is used by professionals in creative fields who demand highly refined composite photos.

Matting That Recognizes a Single Strand of Hair

The time, patience and effort required to cut out complex, detailed portions of images, such as strands of hair blown in the breeze or frizzy hair styles, are reduced considerably. Outlines are rendered beautifully and fine details are maintained. Blonde, brown and other colors of hair are also extracted with great precision.

Background Color Spill Synthesized Beautifully

The color spill of the background photographed with the subject is automatically adjusted to match the composite image. Color spills providing the background to clothing and bare skin are converted for naturalness and visual appeal.

Background Variation Cleans Up

Variations and shadows due to uneven lighting when the photo was taken are cleanly removed while maintaining the detail of the matting image. In addition, noise caused by variation is adjusted by changing the tone of the background. This not only reduces the amount of work involved but also allows more flexibility in photo shoot parameters.

Translucent Materials Also Naturally Rendered

ROBUSKEY conducts matting automatically even when you can see the background through the material. Natural rendering is also achieved for curved glass surfaces like wine glasses and transparent liquids.

With green backgrounds, high-precision chroma keying is affected by specific yellow color regions.
